There said to be pressure from the people of Ideato South and North Federal Constituency to woo the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Nkechi Ugwu to join the race to represent the Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives.
Our correspondent who monitored various WattsApp platforms associated with the people of Ideato Federal Constituency confirmed that immediately an article written by Chijioke Emenike with the caption, “Ideato 2027: Nkechinyere Ugwu Should Declare and Run for Ideato Federal Constituency Seat” was posted, reaction thrilled with the commentators, calling on her to head the advice, describing her as the best for the position.
According to Chijioke Emenike, the “Mama Palliative” as she is fondly called has been the one who always look out for the people, especially, the less privileged through regular provision of palliatives to cushion effect of hunger and starvation over the years.
The writer further hinted that since her appointment as the Honourable Commissioner, she has performed creditably well and has projected the image of the Imo State government through various means.
