The Nigeria Police Force has officially declared a 66-year-old man, Nnomere Odinakachi, wanted in connection with alleged cases of cyberbullying and cyberstalking, signalling a renewed crackdown on digital offences across the country.
The declaration was made public through a Special Police Gazette Bulletin released on the Force’s official communication channels. According to the notice, the suspect is being sought by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), headquartered in Abuja, under the supervision of the Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Authorities provided a physical description of the suspect, identifying him as a fair-complexioned male with a square-shaped face and black eyes. His last known location was reportedly in Vietnam, with no established record of routine presence within Nigeria.
Law enforcement agencies have appealed to members of the public for credible information that could assist in locating and apprehending the suspect. Citizens have been urged to report any sightings or relevant intelligence to the nearest police station or designated authorities.
The police further emphasised that anyone with useful information can contact the INTERPOL unit of the FCID in Abuja through the official communication lines provided in the bulletin.
