As the APC primaries draw closer, House of Representatives hopeful for Ideato Federal Constituency, Dr. Ngozi Okafor, has called on party faithful, supporters, coordinators, and political activists across Ideato Nation to continue to conduct themselves with maturity, peace, and sportsmanship.

Dr. Okafor urged all stakeholders to remember that beyond individual aspirations, the greater goal remains the unity, progress, and development of Ideato Federal Constituency.
“In every democratic process, there will always be differing opinions, preferences, and aspirations. However, we must never lose sight of the fact that we are all working towards one common objective — a stronger, more united, and more prosperous Ideato Nation,” she stated.
She further appealed to supporters to avoid inflammatory comments, divisive rhetoric, or actions capable of creating tension within the party, noting that politics should be approached as a contest of ideas and service, not hostility.
“Our strength as a people has always been our ability to come together when it matters most. The primaries will come and go, but Ideato Nation will remain. We must therefore preserve our relationships, respect one another, and uphold the values of dignity, congeniality, and good sportsmanship throughout this process.”
Dr. Okafor also commended party leaders, women, youths, and grassroots mobilizers for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm shown so far, describing it as a reflection of the growing desire for purposeful and people-centered representation.
She reaffirmed her commitment to running an issue-based, inclusive, and forward-looking campaign focused on development, opportunities for young people, women empowerment, improved infrastructure, and stronger representation for Ideato Nation.
Political observers have continued to stress the importance of unity and sportsmanship ahead of party primaries across the country, with APC leaders recently calling on aspirants and supporters nationwide to embrace peace, discipline, and maturity throughout the exercise.
