The Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Imo State, Honourable Nkechinyere Ugwu has announced plans to fete various classes of Ideato indigenes in celebration of this year’s Lovers’ Day celebration.
The Honourable Commissioner who stated that this year’s empowerment is deliberately fixed to coincide with the Lovers’ Day celebration as a demonstration of her genuine love for Ideato people.
The Empowerment scheme which is on its 7th year running, aims to empower artisans, youths and women with relevant equipment for their jobs and as well as food stuff and cash gifts to support them and their families.
The event is billed to hold at Chief Engineer Godwin Ugwu’s house at Ogwume, Ideato South LGA of Imo State and it will kick off at 11:am
