Abroad based humanitarian and educationist, Comrade Nnamdi Iyioku has once again embarked on human oriented project aimed at alleviating the suffering of his immediate Umuduruchi kindrd of Ugbelle Community, Ideato South Local Government Area of Imo State as he singlehandedly embarked on rehabilitation of electricity project in order to reconnect them to the national gride.
The kindred which have been without electricity over the years now have sigh of relieve courtesy of Comrade Nnamdi Iyioku who doubles as the President of Sociology and Anthropology Class of 2001/2002 of Imo State University, Owerri.
Comrade Iyioku whose philanthropic activities cuts across the entire local government while speaking with our correspondent hinted that he was moved as a result of lack of electricity in his immediate community which have led to many untold hardships as a result, he embarked on the capital-intensive project that has now brough smiles to the faces of his people and made things easy for them especially things that electricity can solve.
He stressed that lack of electricity remained one of the greatest challenges of his people even as he used the opportunity to call on government to ensure regular power supply as to ease the suffering of the people. He added that with regular availability of electricity, the people could have better life and improve their businesses.

The renowned philanthropist who expressed joy on the completion of the project promised not to relent in helping his immediate community and the people particularly, the youths and the elderly to have a better way of life. He added that aside the provision of the electricity facilities, he has equally provided them with other essential amenities which include water supply and solar lights as to enable them charge their gadgets.
With the completion of the project, the people of Umuduruchi kindred, Ugbelle Community, Ideato South Local Government Area are know enjoying power supply which have eluded them in the past years.
The visit of our correspondent to the community showed high level of excitement in the lives of the people who were singing songs of solidarity to the donor whom they described as a true son of the land. Some of the villagers who spoke to our team member prayed God to continue to enrich their illustrious son, Comrade Nnamdi Iyioku who despite long distance always remember them and extend kind gestures both in season and out of season.
