A one time Imo State House of Assembly aspirant, for Orlu State Constituency, and the Principal Head, Titi Law Chambers Orlu, Hon. Chief (Barr.) Okolie Josephat Obodozie Okolie, KSC, fondly called O.J.O, has been elected the new Orlu Branch Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA.
The election which has been described as the most peaceful was conducted recently at the Branch Srcretariat, situated in Orlu Local Government Area, Imo State.
Addressing newsmen shortly, the Orlu Legal luminary expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the peaceful conduct of the election.
Chief Okolie, who is also the Diocesan Counsel of the Anglican Diocese of Orlu, a Knight of St. Christopher, and Legal adviser, Boy’s Brigade Nigeria, Orlu Battalion Council, promised to make the welfare of his members his top priority.
Barr. O.J.O, the former Chief Whip & Councillor of Umutanze Ward in the Orlu Legislative Council, promised to implement the Legal Practitioners Remuneration for business, legal services and representation Order 2023, inter alia.
He assured that Orlu Judiciary Court(s) will return to its glory and called on all stakeholders to realize this fundamental objective.
