ii. MOTIONS
1. Urgent call on the federal government of Nigeria to carry out full rehabilitation and reconstruction of Akwakuma – Orlu – Mgbee – Obiohia – Urualla – Akokwa – Uga federal road. It was adopted by the House and equally captured in the 2021 budget.
2. A motion urging the federal government of Nigeria to create one more Federal Government College (FGC) in Imo State. Every state has three except Imo. This received instant approval and our result oriented Federal Lawmaker insisted that it will be sited in Ideato Nation.
3. Moved a motion for the extension of Federal Medical Center Owerri to Ideato. It was also approved and included in 2021 budget.
4. A motion for total turnaround of the National Orthopedic Hospital Enugu vis-a-vis workforce, facilities and structures. It gained approval.
5. Motion for the canalization of river banks. This will protect our communities from excessive flooding during rainy season.
6. Moved a motion urging the federal government of Nigeria to build more Ear/Eye Hospital in other parts of the country since the only Ear/Eye Hospital is located in Kaduna. It was approved, hence Ear Center for Lagos and Eye Center for Owerri, Imo State.
7. Motion on the looming reoccurrence of Ebola crises in Nigeria: The need for the federal government to put in place detective measures in our airports, seaports and land borders.
8. Need to construct perimeter fence at Federal University of Technology (FUTO), Owerri.
9. Urgent need to take proper measures to prevent the entrance of killer syrups in Nigeria in line with the directive of the World Health Organization
10. Urgent need and demand for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the collapsed bridges and other components of the Umuchima – Obiohia – Ideato South – Imo State – Uga – Ekwuluobia – Nnewi – Awka – Anambra State – Federal Road.
11. Urgent need to review the ban on the importation of maize and other agricultural products by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

COVID-19: Ugwumsinachi in his magnanimity distributed over six thousand safety kits (sanitizers, face masks and hand gloves) against coronavirus pandemic in Ideato Nation.
He also shared five hundred bags of rice and one thousand cartons of noodles to the needy and widows in Ideato North / Ideato South Federal Constituency as a palliative to cushion the effects of hardship occasioned by COVID-19 lockdown.
