Distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Godwin Araraume has distanced himself from a series of publications currently circulating across various media platforms, describing them as false, unauthorized and deliberately fabricated to mislead the public regarding his political position.
In a statement issued through his office, the former senator specifically disclaimed a publication titled “A Message of Gratitude, Unity, and a Clarion Call to Rebuild Okigwe Zone,” stressing that he neither authored nor approved its release. He maintained that the document is the handiwork of individuals seeking to distort his views and create unnecessary tension within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State.

Senator Araraume reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the APC, emphasizing that he remains a disciplined and committed member of the party. According to the statement, his political activities have consistently been guided by the party’s constitution, internal democratic principles and respect for constituted authority.
Addressing issues surrounding the Imo North Senatorial primary election, the former lawmaker clarified that he has not declared himself the APC candidate for the district. He stated that he remains patient and respectful of the party’s internal processes and will only communicate his official position through recognized and authorized channels whenever necessary.
The statement also dismissed reports suggesting a strained relationship between Senator Araraume and Governor Hope Uzodimma. It described such claims as entirely false, insisting that both leaders continue to maintain a cordial and respectful relationship founded on their shared commitment to the peace, stability and development of Imo State.
Reiterating his belief in party cohesion, Senator Araraume noted that the success of the APC depends on unity, cooperation and mutual respect among its members. He urged party faithful to remain focused on strengthening the party rather than allowing themselves to be distracted by misinformation and politically motivated propaganda.
The former senator further maintained that those behind the fabricated publications are merely attempting to sow discord within the APC and misrepresent his position for selfish political interests. He stressed that such efforts would not weaken his commitment to the party or its leadership.

Consequently, Senator Araraume called on APC members, the people of Imo North, residents of Imo State, the media and the general public to disregard the false publications in their entirety, describing them as misleading, baseless and without any official backing.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress and expressed continued support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while pledging to remain focused on lawful political engagement and the collective pursuit of peace, unity and sustainable development in Imo State and Nigeria.
