SpringAid Nigeria Set to Partner Ideato South on Developmental Projects

The Executive Director and project teams of SpringAid International Development (SpringAid Nigeria), alongside the Baseline Investigator, paid an advocacy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ideato South Local Government Area, Imo State, Honourable Kenneth Okechukwu Okwara.

The visit was part of preparatory activities for the Sida-funded project being implemented by SpringAid Nigeria, with Ideato South LGA selected as one of the project locations.

During the visit, the team introduced the project and explained the purpose of the baseline investigation, which will generate evidence to guide planning, implementation, and monitoring of interventions. The baseline study will establish the current situation in target communities and serve as a reference point for measuring project progress and impact.

The team also sought the support and collaboration of the Local Government to ensure smooth community entry and successful conduct of the baseline assessment. Honourable Okwara welcomed the team and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting development initiatives in Ideato South LGA.
